Toni Melerine

Toni Louise Melerine left this earth way too soon on April 12, 2021 at the age of 47 due to sepsis. Devoted mother of Blake Lobre, Cody Lobre and Kailee Ostendorf. Beloved daughter of Daniel J. Melerine and the late Dardenella Perez Long. Step-Daughter of Joseph P. Long, Sr. Paternal granddaughter of the late Anthony Melerine and Leona Campo Melerine and maternal granddaughter of the late Irvan J. Perez and Louise Bonomo Perez. Sister of Stephanie (Dwayne) Nunez, Rachel (Darrell) Sanders, Rene Richard, and Zach Ledet.
Toni was born June 8, 1973 in New Orleans, LA and she was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish.
She will be remembered for her love of cooking,she was a wonderful cook, she insisted on hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners where she did most of the cooking on her own.
She will always be remembered for her vivacious personality, she always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went especially
at the ballpark where her daughter Kailee plays softball, those friends quickly became family.
She will be sadly missed by a host of numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and many more. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday  October 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery 2805 Bayou Rd. St. Bernard,  LA 70085
