Therese Rochelle

Therese Cambre Rochelle went on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 9, 2020. Therese was 56 years old, born to Harold and JoAnn Vinson Cambre in Norco, Louisiana. First and foremost, Therese was a loving and devoted wife of 34 years to James Wendell Rochelle from Good Hope, LA. Therese poured her legacy into her four children: Whitney, Timothy, Joanna, and Christin.

Therese was known as a dedicated RN and achieved the honored status of Top 100 Nurse of Louisiana. Therese studied hard to become a Nurse Practitioner. Her goal was to further her nursing knowledge and abilities every day for her Humana members; many of them became like family.

It was evident to all Therese loved her church family. Through Church of The King in Mandeville, LA, she lead small groups, participated in community outreaches in New Orleans, and went on several mission trips abroad.

Therese enjoyed being active every day. Whether it was her ‘Classic Rock’ spin classes, walking in the Destin sand, or working out in the park with her daughters, she loved to move. This all prepared Therese for the fight of her life against bone cancer, earning her True Princess Warrior status.

Therese saw the purpose in her pain. Therese understood the grace of God and seized every opportunity to share His love with others. She will always be remembered for her loving smile, Faith in Christ, dedication to her nursing career, unwavering strength, peace, joy, and dignity to her last breath. Therese received her miracle and is truly made whole by her Heavenly Father for all of eternity. As a family, we eagerly await the day we will dance with Therese on the streets of gold.

Therese’s life celebration is scheduled for August 21, 2020 at Church of the King in Mandeville. Pastor Doug Armand will officiate. Visitation from 9-11 AM with service proceeding.
