Salvador Medina

Salvador Antonio Medina 78, of Meraux, LA, passed away April 7, 2021 surrounded by his family.  He was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on June 3, 1942. He was married to the love of his life Danubia Palma on October 17, 1966.  Salvador Antonio Medina worked a career in Auto Mechanic and worked at Acme Electric/Quality Reconditioning for over 30 years. He was retired and had a passion for his wife, family, grandkids and great-grandkids.  He enjoyed making Facebook Memes to make people laugh.  He was survived by his wife Danubia Palma Medina, Children - Glena B. Garrett (Bill), Katy Medina, Brenda Westberry (Craig), Salvador Antonio Medina Jr., Edwin Medina (Brandy), Nuvia Carson (Jimmy), Grandchildren - John Medina, Megan Cavalier, Melanie Westberry,  Katy Nunez, Lindsey Medina, Lacey Medina, Nicholas Carson, Kaci Miller Welter, James Paul Carson Jr., Manuel
Barahona, Oscar Barahona, Maria Jose Barahona,  Great Grandchildren Olivia Cavalier, Landry Cavalier, Emersyn Cook, Bradley Carson, Wyatt Carson, Marcela Barahona, Adrian Barahona, Alejandro Barahona, Jacob Barahona, Brothers and Sisters –Roberto Medina, the late Rodolfo Medina, Vilma Medina, Patricia Bran, Carol Chinchilla, Antonio Medina Andrade, Elizabeth Medina Andrade, Rosibel Medina Andrade, the late Sylvia Esteves, the late Jose Chinchilla, Bessy Coello, Rolando Medina, Gustavo Medina, Jacobo Medina, and also many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held May 2, 2021 for 1:00pm at Los Islenos Museum 1357 Bayou Rd. St. Bernard, LA 70085 where we will be gathering to share some of our favorite memories, stories, to laugh, to cry and remember what a wonderful man he was who will be greatly missed.
