Ronda Ortego

Ronda Maronge Ortego, aged 49, passed away peacefully at her home in Covington, Louisiana on Friday, August 28, 2020. Her memory will live on through her three children Shelby Cazes (Drew), Cody Ortego and Justin Ortego. She was a loving grandmother to two grandchildren; Colton and Avery Cazes, and her niece, Malaya Villagran. Also survived by her mother, Maria Viada and her two sisters Stephanie Villagran (Chris) and Wendy Maronge. Ronda worked at Bernhard MCC and was formerly employed by MCC Electric. Ronda’s signature laugh and ability to light up the room will be greatly missed. Her brave, strong, and positive attitude throughout her illness will never be forgotten. The family would like to thank Joseph Jaeger Jr. and friends/co-workers for going above and beyond. She made many long-lasting friendships and memories along the way. The family will receive friends for a visitation this Saturday, September 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 4126 St. Ann Drive, Kenner, LA 70065.
