Luiz de Castro

Luiz Faro de Castro, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away Sunday, July, 4th, 2021, at the age of 66. He was born November 2, 1954 to Firmino Torres de Castro and Jacy Faro de Castro. His parents preceded him in death.  He is survived by his stepmother Ines Piquet Carneiro de Castro, and by his two brothers, Haitor Faro de Castro and Marcus Faro de Castro.  He is also survived by two children, Guilherme L. de Castro, husband of Anna Castro and Felipe L. de Castro; as well as a beloved granddaughter, Sophia de Castro.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, July 9, 22021 in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, Louisiana 70435 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will then follow to St. Joseph’s Abby, 75376 River Road, St. Benedict, LA, 70457.  In lieu of flowers, Masses will be appreciated.
