Joan Jones

Joan R. Jones, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away at her home on Tuesday June 11, 2019 in Slidell, Louisiana at the age of 83. Mrs. Joan is preceded in death by her late husband; Buford H. Jones, her parents; Ally Roberts and Camille Lester Roberts, her brother; James Roberts, her two sons; Steven Jones and Bert Jones and her great-granddaughter, Hannah Sarco. Mrs. Joan is survived by her daughters; Kim Beaulieu (Donald), Luria “LuLu” Norman (Andrew), two sisters; Beverly Randall and Aline Jones. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Don, Cacey and "Jason", Luan, and "Keith"  Drew, and "Tiffany" Joey and "Lorie", Steve, and "Sara" Buford and Mac and her greatgrandchildren; Ella, Miles, Claire, Luke, Keilu, Keilize, Keith, Evan, Lilly, Robbie, Nick, Stella and Maci. Mrs. Joan was involved in the Senior Citizen Center of Slidell, had a love for Bingo, going to the casino and spending time with her grand and great grandchildren. Many thanks and appreciation to Gloria and the staff of Heart Of Hospice, though we didn’t have much time together, we appreciate the love and compassion given to our mother. “Per Joni’s request, there will be no services, however,  the family will hold a gathering at a later date to talk about the many memories of Joni.
