Our precious mother Jean (Mamaw) Noble Warren went to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, February 19, 2021.

She was born on a joyous day in Mangham, Louisiana on August 24, 1933. The daughter of the late George W. Noble and Rose Elizabeth Roberson Noble. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Hobart Warren Sr. and her eight siblings, Ruby Marie Noble, Bessie Irene Noble, W.O. Noble, Wilburn Noble, Clara Mae Noble, Mary Lucille Noble, Woody Noble and George E. Noble. She is survived by her children, Karen (Kay) Jean Warren Delahoussaye (Joey), Elizabeth Ann Warren, Sheri Lee Warren Turnage (Allen), Mary Katherine Warren Fortier (Gary) and Roger Hobart Warren Jr. (Jan). She is survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and high school and college friends. She is also preceded in death by her companion. Wesley Jackson who brought much joy and humor to our mother in her later years.

She graduated from Northwestern Louisiana State University. She was an outstanding educator for 31 years. Her last 26 years were spent at Greenlawn Terrace Elementary where she was adored and loved by her colleagues and students. She was an elder at Kenner Presbyterian Church.

As a member there she also served on numerous committees and lead a Women’s Circle. She recently joined Waldheim United Methodist Church where she attended the WOW Prayer meetings monthly. She was a ray of sunshine to all she met. She comforted many with her gentle, sweet spirit. Her children and grandchildren loved her cooking especially her spaghetti, birthday cakes, roast, fried chicken, rice and gravy and squash. She loved feeding birds, grocery shopping, washing dishes and flower bouquets. She was a great listener and best friend to many. Her gentle voice and smile cheered all that crossed her path. She was an avid LSU, Saints and Pelicans fan. She also loved to read.  She was a humble, kind, and genuine Christian. "Well done good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23

The family invites all to a Visitation which will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, Louisiana 70435 followed by a Visitation on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Funeral will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor John Chetta, officiating. Burial will follow in the Waldheim United Methodist Cemetery.
