Glen Wondergem

July 20, 1950 — September 24, 2019

Glen Vernon Wondergem went to Heaven to be with his Lord on September 24, 2019.  He is preceded in death by his sister, Sheryl W. Czepluch (Ralf) & his father, Captain John M. Wondergem.  He is survived by his wife, Deborah Wondergem and their son, John Wondergem (Julie).  He was the revered step-father of David Porter (Sara), Penni Sperier (Joe), and Keely Daigle (Steven).  His fourteen grandchildren called him: “Big Papa” and he loved them dearly.  His parting hope for them is that they will choose Christ as their Savior.

He also leaves behind his mother, Shirley W. Wondergem, sister Terry Willenbrock (Eric), sister, Diane Taylor(Mike), and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.  Survivors also include his sister-in-law, Rhonda McCann (Paul).

Glen was a Christian who tried each day to honor the Lord with his life and service to others.  He was a faithful prayer warrior and church member.  His dedication to evangelism and mission work left a legacy of Christianity in several countries.  Glen had a most pleasant personality and a great perspective on life, even as he battled chronic illness.  He cherished his many friends in his church family & community.  One of his favorite pastimes was visits with his longtime friends, The Gospel Boys.
