On Monday, July 12, 2021, Ernest Albert Elias, Jr. passed away at the age of 70. Ernie, which his family and friends called him, was born on May 16, 1951 in New Orleans LA. His parents who preceded him in death, were Ernesto Alberto Elias and Nina Reed (Adams) Elias. He graduated from Holy Cross High School, where he excelled as an athlete. Ernie also had a love of music. He had a beautiful voice and could play the piano and guitar, as well. Together they have four surviving children, Adam Mark Elias, Molly Catherine (Elias) Leimkuhler (John), Philip Paul Elias, Hayley Margaret (Elias) Doehler (Aaron). Preceded in death were his loving grandparents, Francisco & Luisa Sofia Rosales Duenas Castro and James Elbert & Esther (Reed) Adams. He is survived by his six siblings and nine grandchildren.
