Donald Blunt Jr.

Mr. Donald A. Blunt Jr. passed away January 10, 2022 at 89 years of age.

He is survived by his Daughter Dawna "Sweetie" Olsen (Greg Olsen) as well as his sister Ann Medlin, and his Grandchildren Amber Essquiance, and Andreaux Blunt. Mr. Blunt is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Smith Blunt and his daughter Lawanda Sue Blunt.

A native of Franklinton, Louisiana. and resident of Washington Parish and Army Veteran, Mr. Donald Blunt had a long career of service. Mr. Blunt spent 23 years with the Louisiana State Police Troop L, furthermore Mr. Blunt spent 18 years as a Park Ranger at Great Smokey National Park.

Mr. Blunt's service will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.in the Chapel of  Bagnell and Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
