Coral Bordelon, Sr.

The Lord called Coral (Billy) Bordelon, Sr. home on April 27, 2021 at the age of 90. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Marguerite Aiola Bordelon, his parents, Phanor E and Eola Marie Bordelon. He is survived by five children, Coral P. Bordelon Jr. (Annie), Sandra B. James (Robby), Sharon B. Boyd (Wayne), Timothy J. Bordelon (Sandra), Suzanne B. Rappold (Tony), 11 Grandchildren, Carl Bordelon, Brad Bordelon, Ashley Bordelon,
Robert R. James III, Christopher L. James, Brent S. Rappold, Colin P. Rappold, Garrett P. Boyd, Sabrina M. Boyd, Jennifer B. Cobos, Timothy J. Bordelon Jr., 8 Great-Grandchildren, Austin, Michelle, Rhett, Luke, Callie, Micah, Lily and Timothy III. Billy was a veteran who honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a retired Electronics Technician at Dixie/Jet TV in Metairie, LA. There wasn’t a TV, computer, radio, appliance or vehicle he couldn’t fix. In his younger years, you could find him enjoying a cold Dixie beer on a Sunday afternoon. He was a hard worker who never took a hand-out from anyone. He led by example, instilling that same work ethic in his five children. He will be sadly missed by his children and all who knew and loved him. Burial at 10 AM on May 3, 2021 at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Road (Adjacent to Camp Villere) Slidell, LA 70460. The Family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society
