Beren Jon “Bubba” Varnado of Independence Louisiana, Born on September 8th, 1984, to Joy Funke and Bruce Varnado. has left us before his time May 19th, 2022. Bubba is preceded in death by his Father, Bruce J. Varnado, Paternal Grandparents Margaret Atherton Varnado and Loyce Maurice Varnado, and Maternal Grandmother Ellen Mae Gardner.
He is survived by his Mother Joy Funke, Stepfather Grant Funke, Son Ashton Kemp, Daughter Mailee Craig, Sister Bree Varnado, Half-Sister Brandy McCance, and Half-Brother Maurice McCance III “Trey”. Nieces: Hailey and Camille McCance and London Varnado. Nephews: Tristian, Nicholas, and Noah Humphreys, and Malachi Varnado. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored and loved him.
Bubba loved fishing, hunting, being on the river in his boat and being with his family and friends. He leaves behind memories of his beautiful smile, loving brave heart, and pure soul.
He worked as a Boiler Maker and Master Carpenter. He prized memories of helping his father build exquisite, one-of-a-kind furniture out of cypress wood they salvaged from the river. When he was able to share time with his father, he was happy! He so cherished his son Ashton, and will be very missed.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Service on Saturday, June 3, 2022 in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m.
