Audrey Spann

On May 25, 2020, Audrey Sohl Spann passed away at 94 years old peacefully in her home surrounded by family. Born October 3, 1925 in New Orleans, Audrey Spann spent most of her life living in New Orleans and Slidell with her husband John. Audrey was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was known to many as gram, maw maw, Aunt Audrey, friend, and confidante. In her time, she loved to shop, garden, and spoil those around her with love. Audrey was a caring woman with a big heart who could be counted on for anything. She was a treasure to her family and will be greatly missed. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, John Spann, her daughter Cathy Ulfers and her great granddaughter Angelle Ulfers. Audrey is survived by her brother Frank Sohl (Margie), her two grandsons:  Ron Ulfers (Lori) and Danny Ulfers (Misty) along with seven great grandchildren; Rachael, Juliette, Audrey, Christian, Daniel, John, and Damon. Services will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 125 E. 19th St. in Covington, LA on Saturday, June 6, 2020.  Visitation begins at 10:00 am and mass at 11:00 am. Reception immediately following at St. Peter's Parish Hall.
