Atwood Taylor, Sr.

Atwood Taylor Sr., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on June 2, 2019, at 11:45PM. Atwood was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Rozene Taylor, and his 8 brothers and sisters. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Jewette Taylor. Atwood also leaves behind 8 children: Lisa Taylor LaRocca (Jerry), Terrie DiMaggio Treadaway (Danny), Phyllis Galloway, Atwood Taylor Jr., Tina Galloway (Keith), Clark Taylor (Jennifer), Brian Taylor (Stacy), and Brett Taylor (Ashley). Atwood also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was a lifelong resident of Bush, Louisiana. He was a great family man, and loved all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, more than life itself. He also served in the Army from 1956-1962, serving at Fort MacArthur, California.
