Wilma Curry Greiner

Wilma Curry Greiner passed away on October 1, 2025, in Jefferson, Louisiana, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 7, 1953, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Wilma was known for her kindness, generosity, and deep care for others. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She valued her community and enjoyed staying connected with friends and family no matter the distance. She often did this through thoughtful phone calls or sending cards for every occasion. Wilma always took the time to ensure those she loved felt cherished and remembered. She enjoyed cooking and baking cookies, and she took great joy in sharing meals and creating memories around the table.

Family meant the world to Wilma. She is survived by her loving husband, Francis Mary Greiner III. Her legacy continues through her daughter, Dorothy Jane Greiner Weins (Stephen Weins), and her grandchildren, Emma and Michael Weins, who will forever carry the warmth of her love in their hearts.

Wilma is preceded in death by her dear parents, Thomas Frank Curry and Dorothy Robin Matthews Curry, along with her brothers, Raymond Curry (Miriam) and Albert "Monk" Curry (Mary Helen).

Her life will be celebrated on October 13, 2025, at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, Louisiana, where friends and family are welcomed to pay their respects from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM during the visitation. A heartfelt funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, before she is laid to rest at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Rd., Slidell, Louisiana.
