William Jerry Wanner

William Jerry Wanner of Covington, Louisiana passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 81. William is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Wanner and Marie Rest Wanner, his loving wife Cheryl Gulino Wanner, his siblings; Andrew (Nap), Donald, Louise, JoAnne, Leon and his daughter-in-law Allison Wanner.

William leaves behind to cherish his memories, his children Greg Wanner (Kim), Scott Wanner (the late Allison), and Jeff Wanner (Emmie Lou). William also leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving grandchildren Andrew Wanner (Allison), Margaret Sansone (Louis), Shawn Thompson (Ashley), Melissa Torres (David), Ashley Wanner, Will Wanner, Jordan Wanner (Briana) and Graysie Wanner, as well as his eleven great-grandchildren.

William was the owner of J. W.’s Body Shop for 35 years, with his latest location in Bogalusa, Louisiana.  He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment to follow in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
