Wayne Paul Guidry

Funeral services are pending for Wayne Paul Guidry, 70, of Folsom, La., who passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025.

Wayne was born in Lafayette, La., raised in Breaux Bridge, La. After graduating from Breaux Bridge High (1973) he joined the United States Air Force where he served in various law enforcement activities.

After leaving the Air Force, Wayne continued his career in Law Enforcement for several years. After leaving law enforcement he worked in mineral appropriations and finished his career as a laser machine operator.

Wayne’s hobbies included playing musical instruments, woodworking, and thoroughly enjoyed flying his R/C aircrafts.

He is survived by his Mother Mary Helen Miller, daughter Christie Crochet (fiancé Jason), son Adrien Guidry (Monica), sister Cathy Callier (Richard), brother Joseph Guidry (Lydia), grandchildren Gaven Crochet, Shaelyn Guidry, Harleigh Guidry, Collin Guidry, Britten Guidry, Brilynn Guidry, great-grandchild Everleigh Mouton, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his step-father Julien Miller, grandparents John and Ezilda Guidry, and nephew Scott Courville.

A Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Christ Episcopal Church, 129 N New Hampshire St, Covington, LA 70433.
