Walter John Teoulet Jr. passed away on May 28, 2017 at his son’s residence at the age of 91. Walter is survived by his loving wife Annie “Lois” Kron Teoulet who stuck by him for 60 years, Also survived by his children Betty Howze and Walter Teoulet III (Laura),his grandchildren Ronald Howze, Elizabeth Howze Hankins (Lee), Daniel Teoulet and Devin Teoulet.
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. When he came home from Italy he worked with his father in the bar room and then opened his own Automotive Service Shop. He will be remembered for running the family business, Teoulet Grocery, and is now known as the River Shack Tavern. A memorial Service will be held on June 10, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at White Dove Fellowship Church, 61305 Airport Rd., Slidell, La.The family is asking friends and family to come join them in a celeberation of life at The Rivershack Tavern,3449 River Road, Jefferson, La. Interment will follow at 11:00am on June 12, 2017 at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Dr., Slidell, LA.
