Vincent de Paul Brouillette Jr.

Vincent de Paul Brouillette, Jr., a devoted Catholic, loving husband, father, brother, and faithful servant of Christ, passed away on December 16, 2025, following complications from a brain aneurysm suffered in mid-August. He was 69 years old.

Vincent was born on March 20, 1956, to Vincent and Lucille Brouillette. He was the middle of three children and is survived by his sisters: Belinda Besnard and her husband Michael, and Alison Greffenius and her husband Brian.

For 48 years, Vincent was the devoted husband of Deborah Barberot Brouillette. Their marriage stood as a quiet but steadfast witness to fidelity, sacrifice, and love rooted in faith. Together, they were blessed with three children: Jaqueline Brouillette, who preceded him in death; Rev. Fr. Daniel Brouillette; and Joseph Brouillette and his wife, Lynn. His family was the great joy of his life, and he found his greatest peace at home.

A family man and a homebody by nature, Vincent was deeply devoted to both his family and his community. For over 40 years, he worked as a commercial contractor, earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike through his integrity, craftsmanship, and tireless work ethic.

Above all, Vincent was a man of faith. A devout Catholic, he lived his life anchored in Christ and His Church. In the final months of his illness, he suffered with dignity and quiet strength. Through his trials, he taught those who loved him—and even those who ministered to him in his medical care—how to live with Christ, how to carry the Cross with Christ, and, ultimately, how to die with Christ.

Vincent will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Peter Catholic Church in Covington on December 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m.

May he rest in the peace of Christ and rise with Him in glory.
