Trevor Carter

d. March 16, 2025

Clearwater, FL

Trevor A. Carter, 27, of Clearwater, Florida was taken unexpectedly to his eternal home on March 16, 2025, in Slidell Louisiana. He was the beloved son of Ron and Debbie Carter. He is survived and missed by his brother Ryan, sister-in-law Taylor, his niece Ava Carter, and many family members. His memory will always be cherished by the Carter family, Grandmother Kathy, Uncle Todd and Aunt Eleanor, Taylor, Ricky, Anna, Aunt Brenda Ingram, Carter Ingram, Avery Ingram, Paxton, Denver, and Huntley. On his mother's side, the Belskey family. Grandmother Faye Belskey, Aunt Terri and Uncle Mike Carmody, Carson and Cara, Uncle Mike Belskey and Aunt Kim, Aunt Krissie and Uncle Bobby Cook, Corey. His easy manner and "million-dollar smile" are already missed by many more relatives, former teachers, his neighborhood, youth group and school friends.

Trevor graduated a proud "Warrior" from Seven Rivers Christian School in Lecanto, FL. He enlisted in the US Army. After completing basic training at Fort Sill, Trevor went on to graduate as a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician from Fort Sam Houston Military Centre. Trevor Carter, private first class received the Army Achievement Medal while serving with the Bravo Company Troop Battalion at the Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. After the Army, he worked for Publix and UPS.

Trevor enjoyed listening to various types of music, and the open road. His love for long drives reflected his adventurous and free spirit. He found pleasure in outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking, and creek walking. Long walks in nature were one of his favorite ways to relax. Trevor also loved watching movies. We find comfort in warm memories of Harry Potter books and movie nights. We recall family time spent playing Sequence, and chess. Theme Park days in which riding the newest, biggest, fastest rollercoasters were a thrill for Trevor. Times visiting with extended family over holidays and special occasions are treasured. Summers on Lake Lure in the mountains of North Carolina were special times with loved ones. Of the many Lake Lure highlights, Trevor enjoyed multi-family epic Nerf and water balloon wars. He was always a cousin who'd spend time playing with his younger cousins and a grandson who visited his grandparents when he was able to. Banter and laughter around Uncle Todd and Aunt El's firepit will always bring smiles. Trevor was authentically himself. He was brave-hearted, headstrong, and loving. When he was determined, nothing could stop him. He was a warrior, who was surrounded by prayer warriors his entire life.

Our Trevor is home now. He is free and resting in peace. Godspeed Trevor. We will always miss and love you.

Through many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come; ’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. Amazing Grace- John Newton
