Timothy Allen Camaille

Timothy Allen Camaille—known fondly to all who loved him as "Timmy" or "Tim"—passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at the age of 65, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Born on January 14, 1961, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, Louisiana, Tim was a resident of Washington Parish for the last 30 years. He was a hardworking, steady, and devoted man who dedicated his life to caring for those he loved.

Tim spent years working on the mighty Mississippi River, later continuing his career in manufacturing with Titan Industries and Sparrows. He was the definition of a hard worker, but above all else, he was simply the very best dad. His legacy is one of selflessness, quiet strength, and unwavering support for his family.

Beyond his dedication to his work and family, Tim was a passionate fan of Tulane Sports and had a deep, lifelong love for baseball. In his eyes, baseball wasn't just a pastime—it was the last true sport, built on heart, patience, and character.

He is now reunited in eternal peace with the absolute love of his life, Brenda Fay Crockett Camaille. He was also preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lawrence "L.F." Camaille, Sr. and Shirley Mae Alcorn Camaille; his brother, Richard Anthony Camaille; his sister, Wendy Ann Camaille; his brother-in-law, Eugene Keller; his nephew, William "B.J." Metcalfe, Jr.; and his precious grandson, Beau Allen Camaille.

Tim’s memory lives on through his surviving brother, Lawrence Camaille, Jr., and his sister, Lisa Ann Metcalfe Keller.

His proudest achievement was the large, loving family he built. He is survived by his children: Tabetha Rigsby (Rocky), Margaret Stockstill (Josh), Hanah Camaille (Alix), Malachai Crockett (Denyelle), Destiny Bard, and Kristianna Metcalfe (Kameron). He was the cherished grandfather of 22 grandchildren and the blessed great-grandfather of 6 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff at St. Tammany Hospice, with special thanks to his nurse, Tegan, whose extraordinary compassion and steadfast support brought immense comfort to Tim and his loved ones over his final two weeks.

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share the stories of a life so well lived.
