Terry Dean Sharp

Terry Dean Sharp, born on December 7, 1961, in Covington, Louisiana, passed away on May 20, 2026, in his hometown of Covington. He lived a life full of passion for hunting, fishing, farming, and most of all, his family. Terry was a proud member of the Cattlemen's Association, reflecting his strong connection to the land and his community.

Terry is survived by his loving daughter, Stacey Sharp (Channing) and his son, Terry L. Sharp (Keli). Heleaves behind his sisters Bettie Smith (Eddie) and Sally Cordell (Ricky), and his sister-in-law Nanay Sharp. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Laine M. Sharp, Dylan Pounds, Masyn S. Lumpkim, Tyler S. Seeling, Molly Sharp, and Charleigh Sharp, who all brought joy to his life.

He is preceded in death by his spouse, Thelma C. Sharp, and his parents, Bart L. Sharp and Audrey G. Sharp, along with his brother Jimmy Sharp.

Family, friends, and community members are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on May 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, located at 75212 Lee Rd, Covington, Louisiana with a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow in the Barker McManus Cemetery.

Terry Dean Sharp’s dedication to his family and love for the outdoors will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
