Terence “Terry” Norton Todriff, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Terry is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Peggye Watson Todriff, and his cherished daughters Peggy Fleming (Brad) and Mary Birch (Jeff). He was a proud grandfather to Weston (Alyssa), Blake, Katie (Eric), Ashleigh (Brady), Taylor (Jake), Samantha (Josh), Alex, Grace, and Lauren, and a great-grandfather to Hollis, Nolan, Savannah, Zoey, Hayden, Nora, Everleigh, and Adyson and soon to join the family, Teddy. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Stacey Todriff, and his sisters Joan Hogg, Judy Kokoszka (Rick), and Jane Slavik (Ron) and many adored nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his beloved son, Terry (Butch) Todriff Jr., his parents Levi and Mary Todriff, his sister Jan Toy, and nephew Ronnie Slavik.
A true dreamer and adventurer, Terry never settled in one place for too long. His life took him from Chazy, NY to Baltimore, MD, Hinsdale, IL (where he met Peggye), Waterloo, IA, Florissant, MO, Atlanta, GA, Navarre, FL, Baton Rouge, LA, Mobile, AL, and finally Mandeville, LA. In each place, he left an indelible mark, made countless friends and left a cherished memories for his family to enjoy.
Terry’s infectious laughter and quirky sense of humor made him an unforgettable presence. He was a dreamer in every sense of the word, embracing life’s adventures with a joyful spirit. Above all, family was everything to him, and his greatest joy was being surrounded by his loved ones.
As he embarks on his next journey with a healthy mind and body, we find solace in knowing his transition was peaceful and full of love.
Terry’s presence was a gift, and his legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will continue to shine brightly.
