Suzanne "Suzi" Cox Collins

Suzanne “Suzi” Cox Collins, age 75, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025.

Born in Bogalusa, Suzi made her home in Covington, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, faith and family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Patrick Michael “Mike” Collins.

Suzi was the devoted mother of Ashlee Ellison (Wade), Andrea Robinson (Robert), and Patrick Michael Collins II. She was the cherished grandmother of Collin Magee (Joshua), McKale Goree (Kyle), Brody Gottschalk, Jacob Gottschalk, Liam Gottschalk, Chelsi Griffin Robinson and Austin Robinson and the proud great-grandmother of Parker, Mackenzie, Holly and Cooper Magee, Carlee Robinson, Gage Harvey, Levi Harvey, Leighan Harvey.

She is also survived by her three sisters and one brother, Cindy Salter (Rick), Mary Hyatt (Johnny-dec), Julie Cox and Dudley Cox (dec).

She loved thrift shopping and especially enjoyed traveling with her three sisters and cousins, making memories on their many adventures together. Suzi was also a faithful member of New Zion Baptist Church.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home. Family viewing begins at 9:30 am and public visitation is from 10:00 am-12:00 pm with funeral service at noon. Burial services will begin at approxiamtely 1:15 pm at Barker-McManus Memorial Cemetery.

Suzi will be remembered for her kind spirit, love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.
