Obituary

Sue M Miller, born on July 29, 1942, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026. Her long and meaningful life touched the hearts of many, and she will be dearly remembered by her loving family and those who had the privilege to know her.

Sue's memory will be cherished by her children: Cecilia Wand, Jill Whelton, and Greg Whelton, each carrying forward the legacy of her warmth, wisdom, and strength. She is also fondly remembered by: Sara Aye, Brion Miller, and Matthew Miller, whose lives were truly enriched by Sue’s caring presence.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Moore, and her mother, Winifred W. Their spirits, along with Sue’s, will forever be treasured in the hearts of her loved ones.

Sue’s journey through life was marked by her devotion to family and her steadfast character. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and unwavering support were constants for those around her. The love she shared with her family formed bonds that will continue to give comfort and inspiration.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Sue M Miller’s life will take place at St. Timothy on the North Shore, located at 335 Asbury Dr, Mandeville, LA 70471, on September 5, 2026. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM. Service is at 11:00 AM, followed by procession to the Memorial Garden for interment. Then a reception after, at the church

As we gather to remember Sue, we reflect on a life well lived—a life defined by love, grace, and endless generosity. Those who knew her will miss her dearly but will continue to find solace in memories of her gentle spirit and the legacy she leaves behind.
