Steven Keith Corkern

Steven Keith Corkern, 57, of Franklinton, Louisiana, passed away on February 13, 2026.

Born on April 5, 1968, Keith was the beloved father of his daughter Dakota Corkern. He is survived by his daughter, his parents Theron and Betty Corkern, and his siblings Joseph, Glenda, and Belinda.

Keith proudly served in the United States Army for eleven years. During his military career, he completed jump school for the 82nd Airborne Division, and worked in engineering roles at various bases across the United States and South Korea. His time in the service reflected his commitment to discipline and hard work.

A man of many talents, Keith had a deep passion for art and custom auto painting. His creativity found expression through vibrant designs and meticulous craftsmanship, earning admiration from those who saw his work. Whether working on a canvas or transforming a vehicle into a rolling piece of art, Keith poured his heart into every project.

Above all else, Keith was a loving and dedicated father to his daughter, Dakota. His devotion to her was unwavering and remained at the center of his life.

Keith’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him—as a soldier, an artist, a son, a brother, a friend, and most importantly, as a father.
