With our hearts broken, we announce the passing of our beloved Stephen Douglas Faucheux; Steve, as most knew him. Steve fought a long and brutal fight with throat cancer to the end. Passing away in his childhood home with his family close by. He was an everyday hero, putting other's needs before his own.

He excelled in his craft as a carpenter, as well as his other talents and hobbies. He had a passion for life, actively pursuing the things he enjoyed doing; such as: masonry, woodworking, hunting, boiling crawfish, and especially working with his cows.

He valued his time with his family and friends leaving a legacy of fond memories and laughter that will carry us through until we meet again. 

Stephen is preceded in death by his father, Gabriel Octave Faucheux Jr.; and his nephew Brandon Matthew Faucheux.

Stephen is survived by his mother, Betty Culbreath Faucheux; his siblings: Greg Faucheux (Pat), Jeamie Faucheux (Joe), and Laurie Faucheux; as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all that knew him for his kind, gentle, heart, dynamic personality and his hard work ethic; not forgetting, of course, his bullheaded stubborn side. 

A service for Stephen Douglas Faucheux will be held at the Bagnell and Son Funeral Home on October 12th, 2026 with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM and service to start at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at the Allison Cemetery in Folsom
