Stephen Michael Reich

In loving memory of Stephen Michael Reich, born September 18, 1947 and passed away on June 30, 2025 peacefully in his sleep of complications after a long battle with cancer. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Galvin Victor Reich and Rosemary Sansoni Reich, residents of Jefferson and Tangipahoa Parish as well as his nephews; Dean Michael Perk, Richard Daniel Perk ad Robert Joseph Perk Jr. 

He is survived by his sisters, Bonnie Perk, Jean Reich Lilies (Craig), Rosemary Tassin, Katie King (Mike) and Helen Reich. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Kenny Rau, Donna Cabler, Racheal  Marcotte, David Perk, Larry Tassin, Danny Tassin, Stephen Tassin, Scott Merryweather, Byron Merryweather, Keith Merryweather, Theresa Merryweather and Jonathan Rennels, as well as twenty-one great-nieces and nephews and seven first cousins. 

Stephen was a proud Eagle Scout and worked for many years as a car salesman. He enjoyed hunting for artifacts and was fascinated by the stores and treasures of the past. He spent time living  in California with is college buddies and moving to Orlando, Florida and eventually returning to his home state of Louisiana. 

Stephen was a kind and giving soul with a heart of gold. He will be sorely missed. Until we meet again. 

The family held a Celebration of Life for Stephen on April 5, 2026.
