Sidney Joseph Bothman, III

Sidney Joseph Bothman III passed away on June 20, 2024 at the age of 62. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn and Sidney J. Bothman Jr., and his beloved son, Sidney J. Bothman IV. 

He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Whitney Salone (Anthony) and grandchildren, Peyton, Blake, Ace, Vayda and Skylar. 

Sid was born on August 30, 1961 in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before relocating to Slidell, LA after Hurricane Katrina. He was a 1979 graduate of Chalmette High School where he excelled in baseball. For many years of his adult life, Sid was an avid hunter, and especially enjoyed the comradery of his hunting club. Sid will always be remembered by his family and circle of close friends for his sense of humor and warm, welcoming spirit. 

He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
