Sandra Ann Perronne Mitten of Covington, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana June 7, 1943, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond C. Mitten, Jr., and the daughter of the late Rudy C. Perronne, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Killman Perronne Brannon.

Sandra was preceded in death by her brothers, Rudy C. Perronne, Jr., Tommy Perronne, Fred Perronne, and sister, June Perronne.

She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Perronne Harmeyer (Buddy Harmeyer) and Pamela Perronne Roselli; her brother, Albert “Dewey” Brannon (Robbie Brannon), sister-in-law Lynne Perronne and Brenda Guidry, and an abundance of loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. Most nieces and nephews looked at her as their Grandmother. 

She was respected and loved in whatever she did! Sandra She was a talented seamstress, loved traveling, spending time with family and friends. She was a very active volunteer with the Discalced Carmelites of Covington making baptismal clothing, Baby Bibs,First Communion Clothes and much more. Sandra will be remembered with love by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was also a trophy winner in target shooting and archery.

A funeral mass will be at the St. Joseph Abbey 75376 River Rd, St Benedict, LA 70457, on Wednesday September 23, 2026 at 2:00
