Ruth Juracovich

Ruth Williams Juracovich, 79, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.  She is survived by her daughters, Jan Juracovich, Jo Anne Lyons and Julie Juracovich; grandchildren, Jennifer Hajjar, Josh Pitre, Adam Miller and Alex Gautreaux; and great grandchild, Dax Pitre.
She is also survived by her siblings, Shirley Ann White, Wayne Williams, Claude Williams and Judy Dixon and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lunnie Batten.

Ruth was born in Ocala, FL and moved to New Orleans where she earned her nursing degree at Charity School of Nursing.  She married the late Dr. Joseph Juracovich and they raised their family in Raceland, LA.  She later lived in Lafayette for 23 years and recently moved to Mandeville, LA.

From her loving heart, faith and steadfast love we were fashioned, and we humble ourselves before you Lord to comfort us with the knowledge that she now dwells in the House of the Lord forever.

Say not in grief 'she is no more' but live in thankfulness that she was.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St., Mandeville, LA 70448 on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 10:30 am.   Visitation at church from 9:30 am until mass time.   Interment will follow in Mandeville Cemetery.
