Ruth Ann Frey Brown

Ruth Ann Frey Brown of Franklinton, Louisiana passed peacefully in her sleep on March 4, 2024 at the age of 78 after a three year battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Ruth was a native of St. Bernard, Louisiana. She was born to Edward Frey and Gloria Breithoff on October 10, 1945. Ruth leaves her Son Richard Brown Sr and daughter-in-law Rhonda Lind Brown. Siblings Carroll Frey, Edward Frey Jr., Dolly Frey and Gloria Frey. As well as Grandchildren Richard J. Brown II, Raechel L. Brown, Rian J. Brown (Taylor Wade) and Great grandchildren Emma J. Winding and Natalie E. Brown. Ruth is Preceded in death by her Siblings Chris Frey, Maryann DeArmas and Barbara Bouffine.

Ruth had a great love for God, her church and her Family. She had many professions over her lifetime. She worked with Doctors, Lawyers and Jewelers. She's been a waitress and a florist. Above all, Ruth loved being a nanny the most. In her free time she was an avid crafter and talented painter. Ruth never met a person she couldn't hold a conversation with. She will be greatly missed.

As per her wishes Ruth's body was donated to science in the hopes that she could help others even after moving on. 

A Celebration of Ruth's life will be held at a later date.
