Russell "Rusty" Daugherty

Russell "Rusty" Daugherty, born on November 24, 1968, in Marrero, Louisiana, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Bogalusa, Louisiana. He was a loving grandfather, doting father, amazing brother, and the best friend anyone could have.

Rusty is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children, Constance Renee' Spencer, and his three children: daughter Destyne' Saacks (Ryan), daughter Tara Daugherty, and son Ashton Daugherty (Ashlee). He also cherished his two granddaughters, Alexis and Presley, who brought immense joy to his life. Rusty shared a close bond with his brother, Darrell Daugherty.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sydney Rivero, and his mother, Carolyn Jones as well as his sisters, Cindy and Debbie.

An avid enthusiast of fishing, cooking, and traveling, he was also known as a huge shoe collector and a music lover. Rusty' s passion and zest for life touched everyone around him, creating a warmth that will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana, on January 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The address is 75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435.
