Roy Allen Faust, a resident of Abita Springs, Louisiana, passed away on October 14, 2026. He was born on August 16, 1960, in Covington, Louisiana, to Fitzhugh Lee Faust and Dora Aline Odom Faust.

Roy was a skilled craftsman who owned a shoe shop and was a master cabinet maker. He had a talent for working with his hands and creating things with skill and care.

Roy enjoyed being outdoors and appreciated the things that brought him happiness. He had a love for golf, motorcycles, and cheering on his beloved New Orleans Saints. Whether spending time on the golf course, enjoying the open road on a motorcycle, or taking in the outdoors, Roy found joy in the activities he loved.

Roy kept a small circle of friends, including Corky and Chris, whose friendships were deep, genuine, and lasting.

Caridad held a special place in Roy’s heart throughout his life. Although circumstances prevented them from sharing a long married life together, the love he held for her never faded. She had a special place in his heart that time and distance could never erase.

Roy is survived by his loving daughter, Holly Faust; his sisters, Allison Maestri and her husband, Terry, and Deborah Mays and her husband, Jack; and his brother, Kenneth Faust and his wife, Becky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fitzhugh Lee Faust and Dora Aline Odom Faust, and his brother, Randall Faust.

Roy will be remembered for his skills, his love of the outdoors, and the interests that brought him joy throughout his life. He leaves behind family, friends, and loved ones who will cherish his memory and carry a part of him with them always.

May he rest in peace, forever remembered and never forgotten.
