Rosalia Perria

Rosalia “Rose” Cecelia Caillouet Perria passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. She was 87 years old. 

She was the beloved wife of Charles Edward Perria for 65 years; mother of Julie Perria Bordes, and Linda Perria Simeon (Ken); grandmother of Lindsey Bordes, Abby Bordes, Allison Simeon Fritscher (Clay), Jenna Simeon Kopszywa (Tyler), and Kyle Simeon (Taylor); great-grandmother of Jack and Reese Fritscher, Rory and Miller Kopszywa, and Audrey and Knox Simeon; sister of Ann Caillouet Ordes (Kenny), Milton Caillouet (Linda), and Jerry Caillouet (Ellen), and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton Caillouet and Maria Cecelia Prestigiacomo, sisters and brothers, George Caillouet (Melva), Colgero “Charlie” Caillouet (June), Mary Alice Lucurto (Sal), Marie Cecelia“Cecile” Gervais, and brothers and sisters in law, Rosemary Fleming (Stanley), Joseph Perria, Jean Richoux (Ronald), Sidney Perria, and Oscar Perria (Diane).

She was a woman of strong Catholic faith; a kind, loving, and giving wife, mother grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who loved tremendously and was loved in return. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. In death, she knew how loved she was.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St., Metairie, LA, on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 11:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Private internment will follow.
