Robert Perk

Robert Joseph Perk (Bob) was born on March 13, 1941, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 11, 2026, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to be with his Lord and Savior. He was 85 years old. He was a kind man who loved his family and friends. He will be missed.

Robert graduated from De La Salle High School in 1959. He was a proud and lifelong patriot who loved and served his country with honor, in the United States Air Force. He was married to Bonnie Reich Perk and had 6 children. He traveled the world working over 40 years in the nuclear, petrochemical and fossil power industry, as an Instrumentation and electrical maintenance control supervisor, senior technician.

Preceded in death by his parents Dibert Joseph Perk, Dessie Toups Perk, his sons, Robert Joseph Perk, Jr, Dean Michael Perk, Richard Daniel Perk Sr, his wife Jean White Perk, and his brother-in-law's Merle A. Morris and Thomas (Lenny) Alen LeBlanc. 

Robert will be lovingly remembered by his three surviving children Donna Kay Cabler (Randy). Rachael Lynne Marcotte (Paul), David William Perk (Sandy) His two sisters, Roslyn Marie Meyer (Deni) and Shelia Ann LeBlanc. His six Grandchildren Corey Randy Cabler, Brandi Marcotte Bowes (Albert), Brandon Paul Marcotte, Richard Daniel Perk, Jr. (Alexis), Callie Elizabeth Perk, Katelyn Renee Perk, and two Great Grandchildren Emmorie Grace Cabler and Malakai Uchenna Perk.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believed in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Until we meet again, Dad. " See you on the other side."

He will be laid to rest in an honorable ceremony on Monday June 01, 2026 at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA.
