Robert Hanberg

Robert Patrick Hanberg fell asleep in death after a long battle with heart failure in Lakeview Regional Medical Center  Wednesday June 30, 2021 at the age of 76.  Bobby was born in Hotel Dieu on Tulane Ave. in New Orleans, La.

He is a graduate of Chalmette High and later Theocratic Ministry School in Pittsburg,

Pennsylvanian. He served as an appointed elder in six different congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses in New Orleans, Chalmette, Slidell, Mandeville and Covington over the last  55 years.

He supported his ministry and his family being an outside sales representative for several National companies.  Winning top salesman multiple times and rewarded with trips to Europe, the Caribbean and cruises, sparked a life long love for travel.

On July 16, 1966 he married Deborah Ann Kennedy.  Together they had four children. Jason (Holly), Kirk (Tracey), Heather Snyder (Jason), Holly Lillig (Nathan). Bobby was Paw Paw to Sofia Hanberg Stewart (Trent), Hayden Snyder (Chloe), Logan,Sadie, Parker,and Greta Hanberg

He was preceded in death by his father Knud Cramer Hanberg, mother Lois Cooney Hanberg Fazzio, and his only brother Ronald Knud Hanberg.
