Richard Francis Evans Jr.

Richard Francis Evans Jr., of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on April 3, 2024 at the age of 83. Richard was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to, Richard F. Evans Sr. and Louise Gagliano Evans on May 14, 1940.

Richard leaves behind his loving wife, Mary Alice Evans, his children, Michelle Ann Castin (Kerry Castin)  and Melinda Annette Miller (Michael Miller) and his beloved grandson Kaleb Castin. 

Richard is preceded in death by his parents Richard F. Evans Sr. and Louise Galliano Evans and siblings, Josephine Forte, Marian DuQuesne, Joe Inzerilla, 

Richard was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed volunteering at his church and going to the gym.

Family and friends are invited to a Catholic Funeral Mass at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Saturday, April 13th 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. and a Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 a.m.  The burial will follow at the Mandeville Garden Mausoleum in the Mandeville City Cemetery immediately following  mass.
