Reggie Dale Harvey Jr, a devoted father, brother, and friend, left this world on December 2, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on July 30, 1967, in Biloxi, Mississippi, Dale lived a life rich with love, laughter, and connection, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Dale’s life was defined by his passionate dedication to his family. He was a loving father to his three children: Colin Joseph, Katherine “Kate” Elizabeth, and Liam Patrick, each of whom he cherished deeply. His role as a father was a source of immense pride and joy; he derived great happiness from spending time with them, particularly golfing—a pastime that became a cherished tradition among them.
A proud member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Dale's faith was a guiding light in his life. His commitment to community service was evident in his membership with the Knights of Columbus, where he actively contributed to the betterment of those around him.
Dale's vibrant spirit was also ignited by his love for football, having once played for the Ole Miss football team, and his enthusiasm for cheering on his favorite teams became a cherished part of family gatherings.
Dale is survived by his beloved mother Darlene Seymour Harvey and his sisters Tricia Harvey and Jandee Harvey. Together, they shared many joyous moments, and he will be deeply missed by his family. He is preceded in death by his father Reggie Dale Harvey Sr. and his grandparents Hilton and Janice Seymour and William and Maggie Harvey, all of whom shaped the man he became.
Visitation and a funeral Mass for Dale will be held on December 6, 2025 at Saint Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Rd, Saint Benedict, LA. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring a man who so profoundly loved and was loved in return.
Reggie Dale Harvey Jr., a beacon of love and strength, will be missed dearly but will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him.
