Rebecca Dale Missino

It is with great sadness that the family of Rebecca Dale Missino, announce her sudden passing on March 2, 2026, at the age 73, at her home surrounded by family. 

Dale will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 46 years, Joe, and her children Clinton Teal, Matthew Teal, and Michelle Simoneaux, along with 2 brothers, Basil Burkett, and Mitchel Allen, also 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Emmitt, mother, June Allen and brother, David Emmitt. 

Dale was born in Thomaston, Ga. before relocating to Metairie, La. where she met her husband. She worked at various hospitality locations and operated her own business for 25 years before moving to Covington. Her passion for gardening, seasonal decorations, (Halloween and Christmas was her favorites) and being at home with her cats and family is what brought her happiness. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. 

The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff of Ochsner Home Health, and Eagen Hospice for their support and care. 

A private service will be held with immediate family.
