Ralph Trentadue

Ralph Trentadue, of Slidell, Louisiana passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on May 18, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, he is the beloved son of Lawrence Trentadue and Helen McCormack Trentadue.

Ralph is the cherished husband of Dorothy Heck Trentadue, with whom she shared 60 years of love. The father of Shelia T. Morel (Kip); grandfather of Shelina C. LeGaux (Anthony) and Tyler Morel (Christina); 5 great-grandkids; 3 great-great-grandkids; loving brother to the late Elaine Forstall as well as his sister Maria Roberts; and all his nieces and nephews.

He was in the Navy USN, servicing October 1953- May 1957, and was honorably discharged. He was on the USS Shea when the hydrogen bomb was dropped.

He loved going to the horse races with his father-in-law and the casino.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be private at a later. Burial will take place in the Garden of The Pines Cemetery #2 in Covington, Louisiana.
