Patrick Collins

Patrick Michael Collins passed away at the age of 67 at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, February 21, 2016.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife Suzanne Cox Collins, daughters Ashlee C. Ellison (Wade) and Andrea C. Robinson (Robert), and son Patrick Michael Collins II.  He was the grandfather of Collin E. Magee (Joshua), McKale Elise Ellison, Brody Wade Gottschalk, Jacob Cole Gottschalk, and Liam Michael Gottschalk and great-grandfather of Parker Leigh Magee and Mackenzie Mae Magee. He was the son of the late Aldrich “Happy” and Dorothy Collins and brother of Tommy Collins (Lurleen), Susan Martens (Johnny), and the late Carol Collins. He was a lifelong resident of Covington, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM with services beginning at 1:00 PM at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road Covington, LA 70435. Interment will be at Barker-McManus Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to dementia research.
