Patricia "Pat" Lynn Bruner

Patricia Lynn Bruner (Pat), of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on the morning of April 26, 2023 at the age of 75.

She graduated from Covington High School and then went on to graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana.

Her career started in Mandeville, Louisiana at Southeast Louisiana Hospital where she worked as an Occupational Therapist in Rehabilitation services. She retired in 2002 after 30 years. She was a member of the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Guild and was a volunteer in the ICU/CCU waiting room.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Covington and enjoyed being in the choir called “The Celebration Singers.” She loved going to Bible Study with her “young at heart” group and loved playing cards every Friday and Sunday with her best friends.

Patricia is preceded in death by her father, Nicholas Oscar Bruner and her mother “Pat” Earline Bruner. She is survived by her sister Terri Bruner Bailey of Covington, her little dog “Mazy” Pamala Mercier of Kennett, MO. Karen Nichols of Kennett, MO Lori Bruner of Deland, Florida and her extended family, Amanda and Angela Wattler of Covington.

Her services will e held at First Baptist Church in Covington, at a later date.
