Oscar L. Hall, lovingly known as Jack, passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 80. A longtime resident of Madisonville, Louisiana, Jack was a devoted family man, a proud veteran, and a lifelong mechanic who could fix just about anything put in front of him.
Jack proudly served his country, enlisting in the United States Army National Guard on March 16, 1963, and completing his service on March 16, 1971.
A dedicated mechanic throughout his life, Jack was known for his steady hands, sharp mind, and willingness to help anyone who needed it. Many in the community relied on his skill, honesty, and the quiet kindness he carried with him every day.
Jack was born to the late Jeanette Flynn Hall and Doris Hall. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Isabelle Monticheck, and his beloved wife, Celia Louise Hall.
He is survived by his children, Malcolm "Mac" Hall (Melissa),and Essie Ledet (Charlie). Jack was a proud grandfather to Austin Ledet (Megan), Amber Wright (Cameron), Caitlyn Ledet, and Dillon Hall. Jack was also a cherished great grandfather to Mila Wright, Jase Giamolva, and Luke Ledet.
His family was the greatest joy of his life, and he took special pride in watching each new generation grow.
Jack will be remembered for his hard work, loyalty, sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family.
Jack’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who loved him.
