Nola Saune Giambelluca, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 9th, 2021 at the age of 83. Nola touched the lives of many and of all ages with her kindness, thoughtfulness, and selflessness. Nola retired from the U.S. Postal Service (Mandeville) after working thirty plus years. Nola was an extraordinary cook known for her “secret recipes”, and was the LSU Tigers’ number one fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Elma Saune, husband, Anthony John Giambelluca, Jr., and her brother, Jules Wesley Saune. She is survived by her children, Anthony J. Giambelluca III (Andrea) and Irene Giambelluca Brown (Thomas). She was the loving “Maw Maw” to her five grandchildren- Erin M. Brown, Thomas Brown, Jr., Ashley G. Haddad (Chad), Lauren M. Giambelluca, and Madalyn L. Giambelluca. Also survived in death by extended family members, Joe Licata and Nicholas Licata.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on July 15th (Thursday) at Bagnell and Son Funeral Home located at 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m..
