Nathalie Mary Lavergne

Nathalie Mary Lavergne, affectionately known as Nat, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 63. Born on December 28, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Nathalie was a devoted wife, mother, and mawmaw, cherished for her loving spirit and unwavering dedication to her family.

Married for an impressive 44 years to her beloved husband, Charles E. Lavergne, Nathalie was a remarkable presence in the lives of those around her. She was a loving mother to Timmy and Rachel, and a proud mawmaw to her four grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Nathalie's warmth and kindness extended beyond her immediate family, making her a friend to many. Her ability to forge connections was evident in her love for traveling the world with Charles, where they created countless memories and made friends wherever their journeys took them.

Nathalie was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Mentel, and her mother, Betty diBenedetto. She is survived by her husband Charles, her children Timmy and Rachel, her grandchildren, as well as her sisters, Liz and Alicia, and her brothers, Ronnie, Mark, and Chris.

As we remember Nathalie, we honor a woman whose love knew no bounds, whose laughter could light up any room, and whose spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. She is greatly missed, yet her legacy of love and kindness will be carried on through her family and friends.
