Michael (Mickey) Ann Murray, 85, of Covington, LA, passed peacefully on October 24, 2026. Mickey was originally from Cedartown, GA, where she spent most of her childhood. She and her family eventually moved to Jackson, MS, where she met her late husband, Doug. The two of them shared many adventures traveling the world and living abroad, including London and Malaysia. When Doug retired, they moved to Hot Springs Village, AR where they resided for the next 28 years. Mickey moved to Covington in late 2023 to be closer to her daughter.

Mickey was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend. She was playful and had a passion for adventure. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Mickey was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Leola Alexander; her husband, Doug Murray; and her sister Edna (Boots) Wade. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Chris) Woodle; her son, Mike (Kathy) Murray; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Sage Lake Senior Living in Covington LA on Saturday, November 7th, at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite animal rescue organization.
