Mary Sarkis

Mary Jo Sarkis was born on December 21 st , 1945 in Beloit, WI to George and Ramona Borley and passed away in Mandeville, LA on Sunday, February 5 th , 2023 at the age of 77. She was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend who will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her two sons Jeff Heiden (Kasey) and Todd Heiden (Rae Anne), grandchildren Joshua, Jacob Nichols, Cameron, Elizabeth, and Tristan, brother John Borley (Connie), nephews John Borley Jr (Colleen) and Mitchell Borley (Liz), and niece Bridget Sheffler (Borley). Mary Jo was passionate about spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. Mary Jo never met a stranger and was always encouraging her family and friends to enjoy life and smile. Mary Jo has earned her angel wings and will be missed by all that knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service  on Monday, February 13 th at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of  Bagnell & Son Funeral Home at 75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Internment to follow  at Saint Lazarus Cemetery at 450 Holy Trinity Dr, Mandeville, LA 70471.

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations to be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her name.
