In Loving Memory of Mary W. Garcia Patton

Mary Garcia Patton, lovingly known as "Mamare" to her grandchildren, passed away on October 25, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so fiercely.

Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Boyd and Gladys Whitfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland "Bubba" Garcia; Huey Preston Patton; her daughter, Julia Lee Garcia; and her dear friend, Roland Necaise.

She leaves behind her loving children, Lonny Garcia and Cindy Stempel (John); her grandchildren, Amanda Willis, Michelle Macione (Justin), Adam Willis (Taryn), and Lacey Rich (Michael); and her eight cherished great-grandchildren, Andrew Macione Julia Freeman, Emma Willis, E'lyn Willis, Lindlee Macione, Abram Alonzo, Posey Rich and Hudson Rich.

Mary also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family member and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.

Her love, her laughter, and the memories she created will live on through the generations of family she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Thompson Road Baptist Church. A visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
