Marlene Montgomery Warner, age 79, was born on August 16, 1946, in New Orleans and passed away on May 4, 2026, in Mandeville. She was a longtime resident of Covington.

Marlene was preceded in death by her father, Victor Montgomery Sr.; her mother, Ethel Boyd; her sister, Linda Schmolke ; her sister-in-law, Diane Montgomery; and her brothers-in-law, Raymond Jenkins, Frank Schmolke , and Ronnie Cooper.

She is survived by her loving children, Michelle M. Warner and Johnny A. Warner; her sisters, Victoria Jenkins, Ophelia (Winton) Willie, Allene Cooper, Barbara Montgomery, and Hilda (Joe) Bickham; and her brothers, Paul Montgomery, Joe (Dottie) Montgomery, and Victor (Margie) Montgomery Jr.

Marlene was a devoted member of Landmark Church of God. She enjoyed spending time playing bingo and visiting casinos. She will be deeply loved and missed by all her nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and everyone whose lives she touched.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
